I dunno about you guys, but this update is pretty much perfect.
QOL addition - Add a confirm button to the settings menu for ladder matches... so players don't accidentally enter with a ridiculous deck. The window on that cancel button is too short for many of us to realize our mistake.

Over a year ago, Drew said the random tower skin selection option was coming in the next update. It didn’t, and finally in the next update it is.

Everything this sub has been crying about for months has been addressed. Not enough gold? Problem solved. Clan Wars timezone issue? Problem solved. Small things like not enough deck slots? Problem solved. Stale meta? Balance changes! And all the other stuff they announced.

I remember when they announced TV royale people were saying they're hyped but gonna keep their expectations low. But man this update nailed it. I would not be surprised if Clash Royale is going to start seeing a lot of popularity, this update addressed pretty much everything but levels.

Edit: some additional changes (such as a rework to leagues) were mentioned in the in-game release notes after this post was made. This list covers only what's in the video.

New card, 4 elixir Epic. Goblin Drill, burrows underground, and unloads three stab goblins when it is destroyed.
Nerfs to golem, ice wiz and ebarbs.
⁠Buffs to cannon + cart, giant skelly and rascals.
Rework to furnace and fire spirits, the latter reduced to 1 cost.
Clan wars 2.5, involves "training days" and "battle days", as well as a "24h race". (Hard to see further details)
Trophy road increased to 8000
Gold buff. Unclear what this entails, except that the cage-like shadow with a "II" on it from the previous reveal post is a gold chest giving just over 10k gold.
Deck slots increased to 10.
Ability to rewind replays.
Lots of modes permanently added to friendly battles.
Two new arenas. One has a forest theme, the other has Chinese lanterns.
Goblin giant is the boosted card

It's kinda funny seeing this tiny little spirit have such a big radius of attack that rivals most splash troops. It would be very nice if the spirit was about the same size as the ice or electro spirit, for visual purposes.
