Reminder: The fact that you get 2 elixir for killing the elixir orb doesn't mean you can spend 100 elixir to kill it Posted: 14 Feb 2020 08:43 AM PST This challenge was an easy 8-0 because half the players I played against put everything into killing the orb. If you use a bomb tower and bats to kill that orb, you just used 6 elixir that isn't gonna help you on offence to get 2 elixir. That puts you behind by 4. 5 good cards to pair with Miner Posted: 14 Feb 2020 07:23 PM PST The miner is an incredibly versatile legendary card inside Clash Royale, almost always being able to find a way inside each meta. Listed below, are 5 cards that are currently good paired with Miner. (not in any order) Wall Breakers - Wall Breakers are a strong 2 elixir card when they connect to the tower. At tournament standard, they deal 325 damage, each! To use effectively, place a Miner on the back of the tower and drop the Wall Breakers at the bridge. Spells like Log and Zap don't do enough damage to destroy the Wall Breakers, and since the tower is locking onto the Miner, they connect quite often. Poison - Poison has been a long time friend with the Miner, for good reason. The poison is arguably the best spell to pair with the Miner. The poison takes out all medium sized unites and lower, and paired with a miner, can take out slightly robuster cards like witch and executioner. While facing opponents with Elixir Collector, you should always have one counter in hand, if not two. Lava Hound - Although it is arguable that it isn't a very high skill card to pair, all it takes is dropping the Miner on the tower (or enemy unites attacking the Lava Hound) and when it pops, you have a ground tank for all those little pups. Skeleton Barrel - Skeleton Barrel isn't exactly meta at the moment, but it is still an annoying card when used correctly with the Miner (bonus points if you add Clone). Similar to the Lava Hound, all it takes it dropping the Miner in the right place at the right time with the Skeleton Barrel. Even pros sometimes struggle to time spells correctly against the Skeleton Barrel, and when it pops it deals damage, so it almost always guarantees just a little chip, if not tons of Larries swarming the tower. Balloon - Balloon is a powerful win condition that deals lots of damage on impact, and almost always gets death damage. When paired with the Miner, the enemy tower will focus on it first, buying the Balloon more time to get to the tower. The Miner can also be used to snipe enemy units placed around the tower that are attacking the Balloon. Alternatively, if your opponent has a building, you can use the Miner to distract it (example: placing a Miner on top of an Inferno Tower so the Inferno Tower targets onto the Miner instead) And... that's my list. I'm sure there's other great cards to pair with Miner, but this is my personal opinion on the five best cards to pair with Miner currently. Enjoy! submitted by /u/_RPGabe_ [link] [comments]

Alt Accounts in the Global Tournament Posted: 14 Feb 2020 02:14 AM PST If you scroll through the Leaderboard of the Top 50 in the Global Tournament right now, you will see that out of 50 Accounts there are at least 10 Alt Accounts of pros in it. There are a couple of more Accounts which I suspect to be alts but I'm not 100% sure tho, the ones I am sure are: #1 Juliet #3 Anaban #8 Some Russian Guy #10 KFC #13 Samuel Bassotto #14 Michifu #17 Charlie #27 Boeufmac #29 LaPoKaTi #44 Boss_CR In my opinion it's already hard enough reaching Top 100 in a Global Tournament, especially now where everybody try hards in order to get that exclusive Emote. If every Pro plays this Global Tournament with his Main Acc and afterwards with 2-3 Alt Accounts (or Anaban with probably 50 Accounts), I kinda feel like this destroys the purpose of the Global Tournament. I had 29 wins in the Global Tournament, and then lost two times against an Alt Account of Anaban, and the Alt Account of Boss, kicking me out of the Global Tournament resulting in a Finish slightly behind Top 100. Imho Supercell should not only check for Gem Fraud or Account Sharing in their Fair Play Check, but also make sure that everybody in the Top 100 also only participated with one Account. submitted by /u/iDetroy [link] [comments]
