Mother Witch has been meta defining. Due to her absurd ability to transform opponents cards in to pigs, she effectively shuts down all swarm cards. She is the main reason for the strength of Fireball in the meta, and is a must kill for almost any deck when she enters the field. Even then, she still has heavy rps factors, but that's a matter of poor design, which is a conversation for another day, as a simple nerf/buff cannot fix bad design.

But according the the leaks, Mother Witch's health will be decreased by 20 hp at tournament standard, which makes her die to arrows+log. That's it. That's the nerf. One minor interaction change. For a card as meta defining as Mother Witch, I can't help but to be disappointed by this excuse of a nerf. 1 or 2 minor interaction changes. The card will still be dominant and meta defining. While the meta will change with the other balance changes, the matter of fact is that Mother Witch will still be a staple, and a commonly hated nuisance, at that.
