How would you change it? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Goblin Drill's Impact So Far Ever since the Summer update went live Goblin Drill has been a hot topic amongst the CR community, and it isn't hard to see why. Many players already speculated that the card would be broken when the first videos of gameplay were aired. However, much of the community have already clamored for it to be emergency nerfed due to its power and the incredible warping effect it has had on the meta during its brief tenure in the game. It's only been a couple days and it has instantly become not just a metagame defining card, but the unequivocal BEST, most dangerous card in the meta. It has been able to burrow its way into almost every single archetype while being a major threat that must be accounted for in every battle. It has quickly proven to have incredible offensive and defensive applications for its cost, making it incredibly versatile. However, besides AOE cards that can OHKO goblins, there aren't many other cards that can prevent considerable tower damage from Goblin Drill without extra assistance. Furthermore, a single misplacement/mistiming can result in significant amounts of unwarranted tower damage, especially from a card that isn't necessarily expensive. This, alongside the ability to deal immediate damage even when properly accounted for, are the unhealthy components that really pushes Goblin Drill over the edge for many players and what lets it get value on par with a card much more costly. Due to its incredibly alarming stats, it was confirmed by Max that Goblin Drill WILL be recieving a nerf at some point in time.
