    A sad goodbye for many.

    Posted: 22 Dec 2020 07:20 PM PST

Farewell to all of you's. 4 years of fun, many battles against you's all. Leading a clan that I was proud of, gone to absolute shite.

For the devs: 1. With the pass royale, you've made the game absolute pay to win with META's changing and free players can keep up with the changes (1 week their deck is well built, the other week it's completely changed).

    1. Clan Wars 2 has absolutely wrecked an active, well performing guild with people from all ages. We were constantly up against max card decks who all had the pass royale, cheers for that. At this point lads, it's not about skill anymore...

    2. The studio became way to money hungry. It's like playing one of those korean mobile games with overpriced ads popping up wanting you to buy and skip. Money is needed for updates, but at this point lads, you might as well ask a 5er for a new card to get it...

It's sad... and it really does show the state of the game when so many just quit.

    Supercell broke leagues

    Posted: 22 Dec 2020 08:23 AM PST

I am kinda against levels altogether but I understand why they added them. It becomes a problem when levels out power skill. Lots of posts have been talking about this issue recently but I feel like people dont see the actual problem. The problem is that ladder was completely fine before and now it is almost unplayable.

How leagues were: (assuming all your cards are the level specified and you are at about average skill level)

    Challenger 1,2, and 3: card levels 9-10

    Master 1,2, and 3: card levels 11-12

    Champion 1,2, and 3:card levels +13

Ultimate: max everything, and really decent skill levels

This is how ladder was, it was really nice because above level 9 cards all the levels were spread out and had plenty of room. This also gave leeway, for example a skilled level 10 player could consistently get into master if they played against the unskilled level 11s in master 1.

    Now ladder is:

    Challenger 1, 2: card levels 9-11

    Challenger 3: 12-13

    All other leagues: level 13

Ladder is infact broken. Leveling up cards wont matter until they are max. This destroys f2p players because getting league rewards is very difficult, while rewarding max players with more rewards they don't need! I really hope ladder past 4000 gets a fix, it needs it fast. I want to know peoples opinions on this matter. Sorry for any grammar issuses, I typed this fast to get my point across and im tired.

How to Double Crown - War DUEL

    Posted: 22 Dec 2020 05:44 AM PST

Solution to: Timezone is still a problem, especially in the US

    Posted: 22 Dec 2020 01:22 PM PST

For this post, "Day" refers to the 24hr period from the start of a reset until the next reset.

It's great that everyone's 24hr clock for war resets happens at the same time. But in the US we're still at a disadvantage.

Maybe you don't have that many US players, but for the one or two of us that play, we'd like a fair game.

    Here's the problem:

Days 1 and 2 most clans can't pass the finished line because they just don't make enough points, even with all players playing. But a couple clans get within "striking distance" - on Day 3 they'll get enough points to finish.

So Day 3 starts before the US even wakes up, giving Asia and Europe extra hours to have their players get their Day 3 points and pass the finish line in 1st place.

Have you noticed that most 1st place clans in the race are non-US?

    Here's the solution:

Hold each day's points in a "war chest" and "award" them at the end of the day in the order of which clan made the most points that day, to the clan that made the least.

This allows all players to play at the time most convenient to them, and their points are added all at the same time - at the "end" of the (playing) day.

    Simple two-clan scenario:

Clan A gets 48,000 points by end of Day 2.
Clan B gets 45,000 points by end of Day 2.

Day 3 Clan A gets 7,000 points within the first 5 hours of the "day" but doesn't cross the finish line - their points are put in the "war chest" and they stay at 48,000 points for the rest of the day. As the day goes on they get a total of 20,000 points (yay them!).

Clan B gets 21,000 points over the course of the day, which are also stored in the "war chest", but they are in the US and they didn't make these points until later on in the "day".

At the end of day 3, Clan B gets their points added to their total first, since for that day they made more points than Clan A (21k vs 20k), so Clan B crosses in 1st place. Clan A then gets their points and crosses in 2nd place.

This truly rewards the clan that performs the best on each day, instead of rewarding whoever plays first.

Idea how to make the game more interesting for us / ladder Point System

Idea how to make the game more interesting for us / ladder Point System

Hey SuperCell and CR community 🙂, how about following idea to make the game more fair and interesting? It's about the ladders point system. Right now the amount of Trophies we get for a win or a defeat depends on how many trophies our opponents have. So when he has less trophies than me and wins, I lose more.

I think it's not fair, as CR is doing the matchmaking and not me! How about following idea. Give us a chance to have a little say which opponent we get. I don't mean a specific person, but opponents in a certain range of trophies. And I want to decide what range of trophies I want to play against. For example (see picture): I want to play against an opponent who has 11-20 trophies less than me. For a win I get +29 for a defeat I get -31 trophies.

But I also have the opportunity to play against someone who has got 21-30 more or less trophies than me. For a win (loss) I get +32 (+28) and for a defeat -28 (-32).

    ...and so on.

I think it is more fair and more fun as I can decide. What do you think? :)

    Climbing Ladder

    Posted: 22 Dec 2020 09:02 AM PST

I didn't know what to call this, so sorry if the title is misleading. I've been doing ladder battles this season and I keep noticing the same trends with the people I match against. Last season I was a lvl 9, and almost got to master, yet this season when I just got to level 10, I can't seem to break into challenger 3. I've noticed that I almost always get matched against people higher level. I don't just mean higher king tower level, I mean card level as well. The cards I face are usually level 12, and I have level 10's, so those matches become a pretty steep up hill battle. I also find mostly level 11 players. I'm at the lower end of challenger 2 and I've never noticed this many high level players at lower trophies before. I wanted to ask if anyone else has had a lot of match-ups against higher level opponents, and if there's a reason for this. It's honestly frustrating to have the same kinds of matchups every game, and knowing that my chances of winning against people much higher level are slim to none kinda makes the game get stale. Any comments would be great !!
