[Idea] If Supercell is considering reworking a card, they should make both(original and rework) available in the draft option, for seasonal challenges and party mode. That way they can get feedback from the community and change stats accordingly. Also see the most picked card between the two

SirTag: Yet another victim of toxic Reddit Hivemind and Circlejerk (and his supporters as well).

    Posted: 02 Nov 2020 07:37 PM PST

Downvote me all you want, you goddamn hive. Do it. You've already proven to me many times these past few months that your downvotes (and your upvotes) mean nothing and are merely your tools of suppression used against valid thought. Prove me wrong.

Oh, SirTag. You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?

You did screw up, but understandably so. Like, who knew Sogay was the name of some dumb place out in some other continent? I sure as hell didn't. And I'm pretty sure no one else in the reddit hivemind and circlejerk did either.

And you just lost out on a 12-win. That's just infuriating. I missed out on one and it felt shitty, even if I was running dirty dirty EGolem to get there. Had to vent myself off. And that's understandable. I understand doing something aggressive when the adrenaline is still going. I don't approve of it, but I can cut you a lot of slack if you recognize and apologize and try to undo your wrong, which you did.

I wouldn't expect some 4-win hivemind circlejerk to understand how that feels, if they could even materialize their own independent thoughts.

Despite all that, despite being a human like the rest of us, despite how easily understandable all this is, this piece of shit called r/ClashRoyale absolutely SHAT on you and dragged you into the shadow realm.

    But why?

You see, you are but another victim of a horrendous species of humans. The Hive. More specifically, the REDDIT Hivemind.

The reddit hivemind is a massive group of people with absolutely no independent thought whatsoever. Their hive leader is whoever posts a dramatic post/comment. They will mindlessly agree with whoever sounds more convincing and dip into disgusting lows against the other person or group that was "caught" being less convincing.

There is a rumor that every person within the hivemind are extremely political and like to yell at others and do damage just for the sake of yelling and doing damage.

    Typical actions of hives are:

    • Mindlessly repeating the same statement even when it isn't valid (in your case, "just add stream delay, that will fix everything" uh no it won't. It doesn't take much effort to watch the match timer and sync it up with the stream delay, IN A GC WHERE QUEUES CAN LAST UP TO 10 DAMN MINUTES OR LONGER. Hell, even CC queues are unbearably long).

    • Stating unrelated bullshit based on personal bias towards the victim (in your case, people just don't like you for your overly-clean and overly-cautious characteristics and decided to shit on you for that just for upvotes and "a sense of pride and accomplishment" from pleasing their hive leader).

    • Supporters of the victim get mass-downvoted along with the victim (Holy shit there were a lot of them, even some poor fuck asking for a mod to pin your comment in order to reduce misinformation got mindlessly downvoted to hell)

    • Mass upvoting for the "winner" of the charisma battle and mass upvoting the supporters of the "winner" as well (OP's post hit front page instantly and all comments shitting on you and spewing nonsense and toxicity and overall just horrible comments got well over a hundred upvotes, each)

    • Going beyond Social Media to ruin your career and your life (I'm dead fucking serious, change all your passwords and tighten the HELL out of your security before it's too late. These monsters are deadass going to try to delete your entire channel and end your career. When I say that they dip disgustingly low, I fucking MEAN IT. This happens to so many people it ain't even funny. Please, I beg you, find a way to convince yourself to change and upgrade your security. I don't want to see you vanish into thin air by the hands of a 13-year-old).

Welcome to Reddit. And Twitter too, to an extent.

SirTag ain't the only victim here. Drew, would you like to step in? No? Understandable have a nice day

Drew has been getting this exact same shit (and Seth, when he was still on the CR team). In fact he gets it so much worse than SirTag just did. And you fucking wonder why he (and other SC employees) left this hellhole behind and went silent. r/ClashRoyale is nothing but a charismatic debate for 13 year olds. A true Hivemind.

On the behalf of the hivemind, I give you, and Drew, and any other victim, my most sincere apology. We, the hivemind, are horrible human beings — no, not even human: monsters — who have never once had the chance to be genuinely respected and appreciated and cared for.

Though we will inevitably continue to do what we do for years on end, I will continue to do whatever is in my power to bring this hive independence from their leaders.

I wish you all good luck and pray that the hive fails to harm you.

    Sincerely,

    — yojojo3000, aka billybobjoseph

[Follow Up Post]: (Not) Exposing SirTag Part 3

    Posted: 02 Nov 2020 10:26 AM PST

I can't believe I have to do this. The amount of people joining the hate bandwagon is incredible.

    Some context:

Recently the leader of AM Cancer played SirTag (yes, the famous streamer and content creator) in a GC. It was at 11 wins, and SirTag ended up losing the match. SirTag responded by reporting the player for having an inappropriate name (KingPin SoGay), as well as his clan. Unless u/SirTagCr wants to explain further, we can only assume that this was because he was feeling "salty", as the slang term goes.

    SirTag's point of view:

Jake (SirTag's real name) thought that he had been "stream sniped" by KingPin SoGay. In addition to this, he thought that the name contained the word "gay" in order to prevent him from uploading this to his YouTube channel. While reporting KingPin (as well as his clan) without even checking if he had been stream sniped was certainly a dick move, it is understandable given the frustration of the moment. (Notice I said understandable, not justified.)

For those of you that don't know what "stream sniping" is, it is when other players tune into streams to see what matches the streamers are queuing up for. When they see the streamers press play, they also press play, in the hopes of being matched against the streamer. Usually, stream sniping is done while using a deck that "hard counters" or is specifically designed to give the streamers a hard time. It is considered very rude, and often leaves the streamer frustrated and wondering if they have been "stream sniped".

    Some more context:

u/TF_Nolan uploaded this post approximately 4 hours ago, in which he explains the above in further detail. Later, Jake himself showed up to reply (this comment). In this comment, it is clear that Jake realizes he made a mistake, and he apologizes for it. He offers to help the clan and the clan leader get their name back, and does not attempt to justify or legitimize his mistake at all.

    Why I'm posting this:

After Jake commented and apologized, multiple people continued to insult Jake for his behavior. (I won't call them out specifically, because my intention is not to start a flame war.) It was as if Jake had never apologized.

I have a question for your haters: Have you never made a mistake in your life? Are you perfect? If so, then you get to judge Jake for making a mistake. If not, why are you continuing to hate on someone who a) acknowledged his mistake b) took responsibility for it and c) offered to help make up for it? How would you feel if you made a mistake, then your employer/parent/etc. acted as if you had never apologized, and continued to speak harshly towards you? I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be very happy, to say the least.

I'm pretty sure if this had happened to you, you would have said "Well, I apologized for it. I deserve a chance." So then why the double standard?

Jake is as human as the rest of us. He is also prone to emotions, and he makes mistakes too. This is not to suggest that what he did was right, or that he should not receive criticism for it. My point is, why are you treating him like he is supposed to be perfect? Are you trying to add to his stress?

Streamers are not gods. They are just as human as you and me. Streamers, or any other celebrity, for that matter, should be treated like a normal human being. They are well-known, yes. They have a public image to maintain, yes. But should they be held to higher-than-human standards? No.

This is like when Obama and Michelle received criticism for going on an expensive dinner date after their wedding. Would it have been truly noble if they had not spent that much money? Yes. But are they entitled to it? Yes. It's their money, and it's unfair for us to assume that Obama does not deserve a special day with his wife, just because he is the president.

Treat streamers and other celebrities as normal human beings. Hold them to the same standards as you would any other person. Not higher, not lower.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this applies to Supercell as well. Yes, they screwed up. Yes, we're not happy. But do they deserve the amount of hate we've sent them? Are we really justified in sending them hate messages, as if they've done nothing but send us terrible updates? Personally, I think not.

Basically what I want to say is:

Stop the unnecessary hate. Please. Keep this sub as clean as possible.
