    The future of Clash Royale

    Posted: 12 Feb 2020 02:26 AM PST

First I will tell you about myself. I am 51 years old and I started playing this game when my two sons were already playing it three years ago. Since then they moved on to Brawl Stars and other games whereas I kept playing Clash Royale. I really suck at this game (5666 highest trophies), but still play it almost daily for fun,

I opened this post because I am worried about the future of Clash Royale. Keeping the current install base is important, but if Supercell do not take enough actions in bringing new players to this game, I believe the game will die in the future regardless of challenges, balances, new cards and other enhauncements. Several years ago Candy Crush had a huge install base. Nowadays, mainly veterans in the game play it. There aren't many new players who will join Candy Crush. I fear this is the same with Clash Royale. There isn't many new players who join this game and eventually existing players will move on to other games.

So what can be done in order to bring new players to Clash Royale? Here are some of my suggestions:

    1. Use the current SC install base. For example create a challenge in Clash of Clans or Brawl Stars that will give gold/gems in Clash Royale. Supercell can also create an Esports event that combines all the Supercell games together.
    2. Advertising.
      A. Supercell can create a celeb show where celebrities practice CR in order to make it at a celeb tournament. They can pay the celebs to load CR videos and pictures to their instagram/ facebook/ youtube pages.
      B. Make SC team go and visit cities and hand souvenirs or codes to unlock stuff or just have a Q&A symposium about Clash Royale.
      C. Supercell can be a sponsor of someone outside the gaming business like an athlete or a music band or whatever. This can bring Clash Royale to new grounds or at least people will know that this game exists. If Red Bull can do it, so can Supercell.
      D. Supercell can donate to charity and get publicity for that.

    What's your suggestions?

Will supercell ever separate legendary war league into sub groups like all of the other leagues? My clan is having issues staying in legendary league due to facing clans with 40k+ war trophies compared to our barely over 3000+. 100 war trophies for 5th place hurts bad enough!

Were Classic Challenges Easier to Win 2-3 Years Ago?

    Posted: 12 Feb 2020 09:15 AM PST

I've been playing around 18 months and I've yet to win a CC. I can get to 6k trophies each season so I think I'm an average player. But I see so many people at my trophy level that have been playing 3 years and have the CC badge and it got me thinking. Was it easier to win a CC back when there were less cards? Intuitively I would I say that it would have to have been easier since there were less cards to have to counter. But maybe there are other factors I'm not considering.
