    History:

    • The Tesla was added with Clash Royale's soft launch on 4/1/16.
    • On 9/2/16, the Chest Rewards & Card Balance Update increased the Tesla's damage by 7%.
    • On 29/2/16, the March 2016 Update decreased the Tesla's hitpoints by 5%.
    • On 23/3/16, a Balance Update decreased the Tesla's hit speed to 0.8 sec (from 0.7 sec) and its lifetime to 40 sec (from 60 sec).
    • On 18/5/16, a Balance Update increased the Tesla's hitpoints by 5%.
    • On 21/6/16, a Balance Update increased the Tesla's hitpoints by 8%.
    • On 9/10/17, the October 2017 Update increased the Tesla's damage by 41% but decreased its hit speed to 1 sec (from 0.8 sec).
    • On 6/8/18, a Balance Update decreased the Tesla's lifetime to 35 sec (from 40 sec) and increased its hit speed to 1.1 sec (from 1 sec).
    • On 3/12/18, a Balance Update made the Tesla's first attack faster.
    • On 15/4/19, the card's artwork was redesigned in an Update.
    • On 2/3/20, a Balance Update allowed the Earthquake to affect the Tesla even if it is hidden.

    Every single match. It's either a loon-jack, or an xbow cycle, or a hog cycle. Nothing else. The thing which bothers me is that the people who use these kinds of deck are limiting themselves and showing zero creativity. They lack good skills so instead of learning they just stick to what has already been made and used by others successfully, for years now.

    I do have people who are in Master and Champion in my clan, and I've never seen them use these decks at that stage. This, and the fact that decks like these don't appear on the leaderboard generally proves that they will only take you so far.

    At the end of the day, it's just sad to see that even though Supercell works hard to release new cards frequently, people limit themselves to a deck centred around only 3 to 4 cards in the entire collection of 20-30 good, balanced cards.

    The hog cycle was a fun deck when it first came out. That was definitely a creative deck at that time. But now? It's just a convenient way to annoy others, much like the other frequently used decks.

    Try to build a deck yourself some day. I promise to you, you'll enjoy testing those decks in 2v2s and friendly battles.

    Clash Royale has multiple deck archetypes:

    Beatdown refers to the use of a high investment unit and support units to win the game. Examples include: Mega Knight, Elite Barbarians, Balloons, Electro Giants.

    What is the problem with Beatdown decks?

    >>> Least mechanically demanding of all deck archetypes, but the most punishing deck archetype.

    >>> A single decision by an enemy to use a beatdown card, requires multiple optimal decisions by a non-beatdown user to counter effectively. FAILURE to make optimal decisions results in MASSIVE PUNISHMENT.

    >>> E.g., Mega Knight and Balloon are not overpowered, but even a single mistake, ie, placing down a musketeer too late, or misplacing a cheap unit, results in massive payoff for your opponent.
