    The Strength and Viability of Bomber in the Current Meta

    History:

    • The Bomber was released with Clash Royale's soft launch on 4/1/16.
    • On 2/2/16, the February 2016 Update increased the Bomber's hit speed to 1.9 sec (from 2 sec).
    • On 3/5/16, the May 2016 Update fixed the "range bug" and decreased the Bomber's range to 4.5 (from 5) but its effective range is unchanged.
    • On 18/5/16, a Balance Update increased the Bomber's damage by 10%.
    • On 4/7/16, the Tournaments Update increased the Bomber's damage by 9%.
    • On 19/9/16, a Balance Update decreased the Bomber's hitpoints by 2% and increased its damage by 2%. This resolved a minor issue where Goblins could not defeat an equal level Bomber in 3 hits at some levels, e.g. Level 7.
    • On 15/12/16, a Balance Update increased the Bomber's damage by 4%. This lets the Bomber one shot equally leveled Archers.
    • On 20/6/18, the Summer Update moved the Arena to unlock the Bomber from Training Camp to Bone Pit (Arena 2).
    • On 2/7/18, a Balance Update increased the Bomber's range to 5 (from 4.5).
    • On 6/5/19, a Balance Update increased the Bomber's hitpoints by 28%.
    • On 30/9/19, the September 2019 Update added an extra Star Level.
    • On 9/9/20, a Balance Update decreased the Bomber's hitspeed to 1.8 seconds (from 1.9 seconds).
    • On 30/3/21, a Balance Update decreased the Bomber's Elixir Cost to 2 (from 3), decreased its hit points by 31% and its damage by 32%.

    my suggestions for training camp changes

    currently, training camp is underused

    cmon admit it, you probably never use it

    so here are my suggestions for changes that could be made to the training camp

    1. replace training camp entirely with a unranked mode. ever wanted to test a new deck but scared youll lose trophies? well an unranked mode would solve that problem giving you free reign to test and create new decks. you could argue party serves that purpose but party doesnt have the "normal" gamemode (the one seen on ladder)
    2. nerf the trainers a bit. currently, if youre on spooky town, the trainers will have level 11-13 cards which is way above the card levels that most players in spooky town have.

    This curent meta is, for a lack of a better term, absolutely awful. Ebarbs are running rampant and running this meta. Giant skele was a check to these and mega knight. When they "reworked" him, they took away his niche. Every tank has a way to deal big damage, Ex :Pekka has high attack, Giant is cheap enough to build up a big push easily, Golem has enough hp to deal plenty of damage. Giant skeleton delt big damage via his bomb, and was a good counter to stuff that's meta right now. Playing against ebarbs every single match isnt fun, It feels like im playing around 2k trophies back in 2018. These next two months are not going to be fun at all...

    I wish we could create bracketed tournament in this game inbuilt. Imagine there are 128 players in a tournament.

    128->64->32->16->8->4->2->1

    If each round takes maximum of 6min per match so 7 rounds would take 42 minutes for 128 player tournament. We could set player limits and bigger tournaments with more players. There could be checkin times. Also times could be shorter if matches in consequent rounds got over faster. There could be option to spectate in each bracket or be disabled by host to avoid sniping.

    What would be a good way to fix the level balancing in clan wars ll?

    I just got done from a 1v1 for clan wars, and I couldn't help but realize a big issue. I was using my fourth deck, (I had used the other three for a duel), and was put up against a max cards player. At first, I thought it was just bad matchmaking, but then I realized that we were the same level. I'm guessing he was just using his first deck and it was just unlucky for me.

    I've thought of a good idea myself to combat this issue. What if, of our four war decks, they were ranked from 1 to 4, 1 being your "main" deck, and four being your least comfortable. Matchmaking for the original 1v1 would be based off king level, but also based off of you and your opponent are using the matching deck slot. Duels and special game modes would not apply to this, for obvious reasons.

    Obviously this has some major flaws, for example,somebody could put there max deck at four and get an easy matchup. This could be fixed by making the deck editing timer that's already very annoying only start after a deck is used, OR, after a deck is edited. There are definitely still flaws, by I thought this would be a sweet solution to an already unfair clan wars.
