Posted: 08 Dec 2020 12:17 PM PST Not actually hating on Supercell, but let's face it - the game is now on coast mode as far as SC is concerned. It was vibrant and joyous for a long time, but this last year starkly illustrated how little effort has been put in to the game. It was most obvious with CW2, they spent almost time conceptually thinking about any aspect of that particular expansion, and that wasn't rushed out in a month - that was 18 months of lead time to that expansion. I mean you wouldn't have had to ask too many players if they thought mandatory war for all clans, yet only clans with 30-40 very active players could even complete the river race to get the only rewards available, was a good idea, to find out that that no, it's a terrible idea. Obviously the faults of CW2 have been hashed and rehashed a zillion times already, so let's skip that. It's beyond that, the lack of adverts, the bare minimum balance changes (that look like they only worked on them the day before a deadline and then hit the pub for pats on the backs all round), the card development that has been irregular at best, etc. The hardest working guy in CR now is Drew having to listen to us complain about how little effort SC is putting forth, when it should be the dev team working like mad and Drew having to constantly elaborate on all the great things that have come to CR. Instead of mourning, let us celebrate the good times we may have had during the last four+ years. Acknowledging that the salad days are past and now we are in a mobile game retirement community now. | Posted: 08 Dec 2020 09:12 AM PST Every week should be like the 5th week. Ya it's a race but the winner should be the clan with the most points after 7 days. Not the fastest to reach 50k... I'm in the 2nd best war clan in Canada, we did over 300k points last week on the 5th river race week. But this week we are against asian clans and we lost 5th on tuesday at 9:30 am... This is ridiculous, our war start at 5:00 am but for them it's pm time while we are still sleeping. We will literally lose 5th for the whole war not because we are bad, because we are sleeping. I'm so mad after this update and the dev team. I know they are trying their best to "fix" the war but this crap should to a top priority, not releasing new cards. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 08 Dec 2020 02:27 PM PST With season 18 changes, trophy loss and gain is symetrical for winning and losing throughout legendary league. Combined with the monthly season reset, there is a net loss of trophies overall with no source for new trophies. If this is not fixed, within a few seasons everybody will be down to 4K and of course much sooner everybody will stop playing ladder! Or did I miss something? I really do hope so! | Posted: 08 Dec 2020 06:16 PM PST I'm surprised that nobody has posted this already, so I thought I'll do. I never thought that a single card could revive my interest in this game, but it has. The team has done really well with this card. It's feels very well balanced in the sense that it's absolutely fun to play with and not too scary to play against. I do hate the fact that it's a legendary and would probably take years to max it out. But still.. kudos to the team! [link] [comments] | ||
