- CW2 has sucked the joy out of clan leadership and is killing clans
- I've suggested this before and I'm going to suggest it again. Allow players to take control of teammates deck in 2v2 if they leave the game or are inactive for 20 seconds or give us their elixir!
- I'm ready to admit this new war is complete shit

- The best part of CW 2 is logging in to see your clan boat is damaged. That way I can just repair 4 times quickly and go back about my day.
- Has anyone spent a emote or chest worth just for 5 bowler
- My opponent blocked his own dash charge by his bandit with his Mega Knight. I didn't know this was possible. Is this a feature or a glitch?
- First time I can remember using defensive graveyard, it was worth it!
- Managed to spectator myself in CWII ... could do nothing.
- And just like that, week 4 complete. It’s a competition who can cycle the most mini accounts, since there is no joining cooldown. Even worse, now comes 6 days of nothing.

But for Seth not to take the time out to post here or make a video says a lot. I'm thinking he's destroyed morale in the team and they repayed him by puking out this half baked update. You could play in war if you wanted but if u didn't no harm it didn't affect anyone as clans were grouped by numbers who joined. Now everyone has to play. However due to developer incompetence, a lot of players just aren't interested. So now as clan leader, I am kind of forced to kick peeps for not playing, issuing constant reminders etc. so if I kick people, it's harder now to recruit and the clan slowly dies. If I don't, active players who want to play war leave and the clan dies. What an absolute dud of an update. CW1 was a bit boring and it needed a refresh but this new version is by leaps and bounds worse. [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 22 Sep 2020 06:29 PM PDT I've just played 2 games back to back and both times my teammate left. First was because teammate used freeze and activated king tower and raged. Second game teammate left because we lost a princess tower, even though we had one of theirs too. Both of these games could have been continued but impossible to do anything when there's a minute plus of game left. My suggestion is if a player leaves, you can control their deck, by using the bar where you can see their cards or give us their elixr so we at least have a fighting chance. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 22 Sep 2020 06:46 AM PDT In last 2 days, I've lost all 8/8 of my battles in war due to facing maxed out people every game. In the last 8 games all of my opponents have been maxed out. This has been making it impossible for me to win any match and as a result ive lost out on about 9000-11000 gold. I am F2P and have only 1 max deck (Pekka Bridge Spam). With the old war system I was able to finish 4/4 of my battles and win 3-4 of the battles. Now I almost always lose because I've people with so much less skill but WAY higher card levels. I know lots of other people have been experiencing this too. We have now been getting less gold than we had been getting before due to not even being able to win against higher leveled players. I have also stopped trophy pushing because I want better match ups in war, slowing down my progression even further. In addition to this, the clans in spot 2-5 in my league have all lost players and everyone has ranked the same every war. This new system has been designed to slow the progression of F2P or low spending players and boost progression of people who already have more than half their cards max in addition to punishing less active/lower leveled clans. Overall I pretty much hate this update, it slowed progression, ruined lots of people clans, and had made me quit ladder. [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 22 Sep 2020 10:55 AM PDT Everybody has been so annoyed about CWII's matchmaking and progression that nobody has realised that the "new gamemode" of the update is exactly the same thing that we always do, just up to 3 times in a row. I think the words used in the release video were "new gamemode that's going to change the way you play". Correct me if I'm wrong. Why is Supercell doing this? Currently the modes we can play in war are normal, normal but 3 times and you vs 3 xbows, compared to CWI's sudden death, triple elixir, draft, triple draft... the list goes on. Not only did the old version offer more interesting and diverse decks, the battles themselves were more diverse due to the massive variety of gamemode types you could choose. Please Supercell, add more variety to the River than just 1v1 and 1v1 x3. Maybe it will make CWII more interesting, even if the decks are unvaried and the matchmaking unfair. TL;DR: Supercell introduced duels as a new mode to get excited about, even though it's just the usual one 3 times in a row. [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 22 Sep 2020 11:56 AM PDT Many say that Knight and Musketeer are overpowered. They might not be wrong. What they don't realize is that another just as if not more broken than the duo is most probably the Fisherman. Despite having the highest GC win rate, the card has managed to stay under the radar for months. Looking at the stats, it's likely to rise even higher. Fisherman is the type of card that should never be the strongest, and the fact that it is has caused massive problems in the meta. Here are 3 of them: 1. Death of Ground OffenseFisherman counters win conditions like Golem, Giant and Hog Rider. Look at GC use rates, and what do we see? All 3 cards at the bottom, with Hog Rider having win rates less than 40%. In fact, the only troop types it doesn't counter are Ranged, Swarms and Air. Coincidentally, we see that the most used win conditions include Graveyard, Balloon, Royal Hogs and Royal Giant. Cards that are Ranged, Swarms and Air It's not difficult to see that Fisherman has killed off win conditions that are Ground, Melee and Single. It killed them so badly people don't even realize they were gone. 2. Death of Ground DefenseWe have already shown that Fisherman hard counters any win condition that is Ground, Melee and Single. However, this is much more than defense. Fisherman's second most important use is to drag defensive units away from the other side, this is best used against melee units like PEKKA. So what do we see? PEKKA has less than 40% win rate, and other melee units like Mini PEKKA and Lumberjack are subpar too. 3. Death of Deck DiversityIn the most used GC decks, all of them either have win conditions not hard countered by Fisherman, or overpowered cards like Knight and Musketeer. People say Knight, Musketeer, Skeletons and Skeleton Dragons are overused, but Fisherman helped caused that too. Knight and Skeletons can distract the Fisherman's hook, while Musketeer and Skeleton Dragons can stay out of its hook range. At this moment, there is almost no one using Golem, PEKKA, Giant or Hog Rider other than pros. All the complaints and rants, and now all the cards they hate are now dying without them even realizing. ConclusionWhereas offensively overpowered cards are usually complained about very quickly, defensively overpowered ones can sometimes break the game without people even realizing. Fisherman is the most overpowered card no one talks about and it needs a nerf.
