    • On 24/1/18, a Balance Update gave Zappies the ability to target air troops.
    • On 3/9/18, a Balance Update changed the reload mechanics by slowing down their first attack after moving but preventing them from being stun-locked by other Zappies.
    • On 3/2/20, a Balance Update increased the Zappies' damage by 20%, but also decreased their hit speed to 2 sec (from 1.6 sec), increased their initial attack speed to 1 sec (from 1.4 sec) and added a 0.15 second deploy time between each Zappy.
    • On 2/6/20, a Balance Update decreased the deploy stagger for each Zappy from 0.15 seconds to 0.1 seconds.
    • On 7/7/20, a Balance Update increased the Zappies' damage by 14%, but decreased their hit speed by 5% (from 2 seconds to 2.1 seconds).

    Anyone else wish they could use Clash Royale emotes outside of the game?

    I don't know if this means I've played this game for too long, but sometimes while I'm messaging someone outside of Clash Royale, there are moments where a Clash emote would be perfect for the conversation and I find myself looking for it for a split second before realizing I'm not in Clash Royale.

    Some of these emotes are so perfect though and they'd be so funny and useful in texts. Wizard dab, sarcastic night witch clap, thinking hog rider, goblin covering face and shaking head, etc are all gold.

    Anyone else feel this way too or am I a lunatic

    Petition to rename Icebow to 3.5 Rocket Cycle

    This isn't a rant post. This is a serious suggestion. We are at the point where Icebow doesn't even require the player to use Xbow at the bridge. All they have to do is turtle on their own side and rapidly chip away at the tower with rocket. Then all the player has to do in order to defend the opponent's large counterpush is by rinse repeating knight, Tesla, ice wizard and nado over and over again. They can even use rocket on defense if they are in a pinch.

    The point? Icebow has ZERO weaknesses. It is impossible to break through a defensive xbow with Tesla ice wizard nado no matter what the opponent does. You can't counterpush because the defense only costs 7 elixir to set up, and the last steps are to use tornado and repeat spam Tesla ice wizard knight nado until the entire push is dead. The only possible way this deck can lose is by suffering from a bad starting hand while the opponent plays a golem or elixir golem in the back.

    This deck can flawlessly stop a 20 elixir golem push while still managing to obtain a positive trade. Then use that elixir for another rocket. Icebow is easily one of the most strategy crushing, antifun, and overall the most fundamentally game breaking deck in this game.

    How can we fix this? Reduce spell damage to crown towers to 50% from 35%, and potentially reduce the damage of rocket by 2-4%. The entirety of Icebow relies on cycling rocket to deal damage, and punishing with xbow if the opponent doesn't have the elixir. By reducing the effectiveness of rocket on crown towers, the deck will actually have to rely on Xbow to deal damage, and not just resort to tier long in the back and spamming rocket. There is no reason why any deck should have the play style of exclusively defending their towers and only having the player commit their elixir on only one card to do all the damage for them.

    New Game Mode Idea?

    VERY Sudden Death

    I have an idea for a new game mode: VERY Sudden Death. Here are the rules I thought of:

    1. Towers are at 1 hp. You must be quick to protect them
    2. Towers are immune to spells (zap, log, fireball, Rocket, lightning, earthquake, arrows etc.)
    3. Princess, Magic Archer, barbarian barrel, dart goblin, xbow and mortar must be placed on the lower half of the players side of the field.
    4. Miner and graveyard must be placed below the bridge

    Possible rules: 1. Troops that target buildings have 20%-50% less health 2. Royal Recruits, royal giant and electro dragon prohibited (or weaker)

    There may be more rules to be added and it seems tricky to code that into the game. Any suggestions to make this better?
