    I think people should move away their focus away from spell cycle being OP to GY barb hut cause this strategy is truly overpowered.

    For a long time, I felt like this game was like a job. I felt I had to finish those pointless obnoxious challenges, I felt I had to finish pass royale every season, and I felt I had to push on ladder. For years I've been stressed as hell playing this game. Toxic emotes and people (eventually I have become a toxic player too because in the end I felt so angry at the game that I just wanted to punish everyone I could). I know it sounds pathetic, but I mean, it's a brainwash since this game was a daily activity for me since global release. When you notice, the cancer has spread to you. (Average 10k wins on ladder if I consider both of my accounts). But I also had a ton of 2x2 games because honestly most the times, playing ladder just gave me anxiety. So I found another game, and naturally I temporally lost interest in CR. So after like almost a month with not even logging in, I thought: "ok let me give a shot". So I started a match. Oponent: hog 2.6. Not long after xbow, and xbow again. And logbait, and 2.6. So I closed the game again and still didn't open it yet. This game has been stale for years, and I won't lie if I truly say that I have zero hopes on this update. Everything will be the same. The same annoying powerful decks. The cancer. The broken matchmaking, the "luck deck rotation" in ladder. After I quit, I felt I've become a lot less frustrated over stuff. It's very complicated for me to say this game still gives joy to people, maybe pro players or new players which are just knowing the game.

    I bet if I open the game in 2024, the first ladder game will be against xbow 2.9.

    I include myself on that, I play logbait, however I'm not judging the players. There's a dark feeling that this game doesn't really give us a choice to create a deck even if there are 727366484822715526348383 options of decks available, from those, only 10 or 15 are playable.

    I wish the best luck on this update, I swear I do, I hope there will be new game modes, new stuff you know, but we all know that ladder and competitive games will stay the same as always.

    Rascals and midladder

    Welcome to my ted talk.

    This sub has always been filled with underleveled players struggling in mid ladder. I don't wanna create something that most people won't read so I'll get right to the point.

    Rascals are very good for mid ladder

    Rascals is a card that's hard to fit into many top ladder players decks. There aren't many situations where rascals would be more useful than say, an e-wiz. However, midladder has to deal with many cards that aren't seen much on top ladder. Rascals are an effective counter to cards such as mega knight, PEKKA, elite barbarians, witch, and minion hoard. Even if underleveled, rascals can provide your deck with both the role of a tank and air defense. Think of the card as sort of a goblin gang kind of deal. You are essentially getting a knight and archers for 5 elixir.

    I honestly used to think rascals were the best card in the game. I was able to reach 6000 trophies as a level 11 with level 12 cards using rascals balloon. They were a one card counter to so many problems in mid ladder.
