I know I often complain a lot. but actually the game has a much greater meaning in my life. because I owe our relationship with the woman I will marry in a few months to this game. For this reason, I would like to thank everyone who made this game even if I was angry with you most of the time.

I think reddit has the power to come up with great ideas for these loading screen tips. Why not have a post where people can submit them and the best ones get added into the game?

Petition to add a "RANT" flair to this CR subreddit

    Posted: 28 Jan 2020 08:18 AM PST

I feel like there is a lot of quarrelling between two types of people here on this subreddit: the amateurs like me who encounter numerous problems in ladder pushing and discuss here, and the maxed masters of Clash Royale who can provide tons of resources and offer a lot of help to newer players.

As a matter of fact, there are a lot of non-max players on this sub. They are frustrated with ladder pushing: they surely wouldn't be happy to see an RG or Ebarbs two levels higher, would they? A lot of posts of ranting about unfair matchups are created every day, for they have a lot of anger towards overleveled opponents. As a non-max amateur myself, I share their experience and frustration, and I totally understand the need of a vent to let out their anger. As this subreddit is the hub for millions of players, it is a perfect place for them to express their emotions, to let many others know how hard ladder pushing is.

On the other hand, there are also lots of gurus of Clash Royale. They have their deck maxed and have a clear understanding to game mechanics. To them, RG and Ebarbs are not formidable: they know exactly how to counter them. They have already gone through the pains of upgrading a deck fully, and have passed the point of complaining about matchups, where everyone is maxed, skill and archetype matchups determine the winner. They would surely expect other non-max player to follow their footsteps and persevere until they max out their deck.

Both types of players have their own rationales: non-max players want a place to complain, while maxed players want this subreddit to have more useful tutorials than complaints.

Because of this, I would like to suggest a "RANT" flair for this subreddit. Some suggestions of additional rules with this flair includes:

    1. Rant posts must add a "RANT" flair or their posts would be deleted. This ensures that maxed players would not be quite as annoyed to see rant posts everywhere as they can just skip them.

    2. Comments under rant posts must be encouraging and constructive. Comments like "git gud" should be removed because they defeat the purpose of ranting. Good comments include, "I understand that losing to Ebarbs rage is humiliating to you. He is so many levels higher, but you can still have a chance to defeat him! Here are some tips..."

    3. Frequent offenders of bad manners regarding rant posts would be temporarily banned from this subreddit or even receive a permanent ban.

With this new subcategory of posts, amateurs can continue to have a vent for them to complain about overleveled opponents and receive encouraging messages from peers to keep leveling up, and maxed players who don't want to see rant posts can just ignore them more easily. Of course, max players are very mcuch welcomed to leave comments there, as long as they are constructive and encouraging.

I would like to hear your opinions about this little suggestion. Thanks for reading such a long post.

Seriously, he could have won the match. Only if he finished the match first before spamming those emotes. Credits to NillocResnaw (my clanmate) for the gameplay.

    Just a Few General Questions

    Posted: 28 Jan 2020 09:33 PM PST

So, I've been playing pretty much since release. I just hit king level 13 this week (f2p btw) and was a bit confused as I read through this subreddit for the first time.

What's considered "mid ladder?" I sit at about 5500 trophies but nothing's a challenge, I'm just lazy. Me and my friends do a lot of 2v2 memes, Night Witch Mirror Clone is one of our favorites.

Another thing, I was looking for feedback on my deck.

Zap, E Wiz, Bandit, Pekka Fireball, Dart Gob (but Firecracker rn), Valk, and B. Ram. I've been using this deck for a while and am very comfortable with it. It's 3.9 elixir avg, is this considered a "heavy" deck? Thought it was average...

    Hopefully someone sees this, lol.

Who in this sub plays a very off meta deck/ never heard of a meta deck?

    Posted: 28 Jan 2020 07:27 PM PST

Most of my games in mid ladder (master 2/3) are filled with wizard mega knight and hog rider all in the same deck. Most people use cards like giant skeleton or prince as a win condition I play classic log bait and I rarely see anyone else play a meta deck on ladder so do you guys play meta decks?

Somehow I beat a level 13 using royal giant as level 8.
